A simple guide to choosing a carpet

Choosing the right rug can be a challenge. Here are some recommendations so you only have to focus on choosing the
perfect size, color and style.

Before you decide on the size of your rug, you should know that the main function of a rug is to harmonize all the elements in a room . So to create a balance, you can start by thinking about the style you are aiming for and where the furniture will be placed.

Try combining several rugs. It always looks better if you use different sizes.

Experiment with the different angles by trying out different ways of arranging your rugs. When layering different shapes, lay out the first rug straight and then move the smaller rugs around until you find an optimal position.

When it comes to colors, your rugs should be color coordinated or complementary. Find different shades of the same color and layer them according to your preferred look.

Kitchen & dining room

The choice of carpet here depends directly on the size of the dining table. The most important rule to remember is that you need enough space beyond the edge of the table top to pull the chairs in and out. So make sure that there is a carpet edge of around 45-60 cm behind the back legs of the dining chairs so that the chairs do not touch the floor when you pull them out.
